Career:

After graduating from high school and subsequently training as a banker, Dr. Philipp Diekmann studied business administration at the European Business School (ebs) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, focusing on financial management and international management. During his studies, he spent semesters abroad in MBA programs at TEC de Monterey in Mexico (ITESM) and Pepperdine University in California. He wrote his thesis in economics in the field of monetary theory. After graduation, he initially joined an international strategy consulting firm, where he most recently advised companies in the consumer goods and manufacturing sectors as well as private equity firms. During his eight-year consulting career, he completed his doctorate on the topic of price management. In 2011, Dr. Diekmann then moved from management consulting to the private equity industry and has since held a wide variety of management roles in portfolio companies, initially focusing on the commercial areas and for the last 5 years as CEO.

Dr. Diekmann has been a member of the Management Board of BHS Tabletop AG since July 2021 and its Chairman since September 2021.
