Barbecue in the gastronomy
With the first warm rays of sunshine, not only the Germans' favorite season has begun: At the center of the summer hotspot is the grill. Especially in this day and age, when many people are opting for a vegetarian or even vegan lifestyle, grilling is not just about meat and fish. Alternatively, there is grilled cheese, vegetables or even fruit, which provide new summer taste experiences.
When the cook becomes the grill master
They offer real BBQ gourmets grilled in a class of its own. Here, the chef becomes the grill master and présentateur. In addition to the well-known classics, he also knows how to serve up trendy delicacies that promise sensual delights.
Grilling fruit as an unusually delicious side dish
Surprisingly and treated as a new trend, grilled fruit is now also appearing on the plate - for example as a fine accompaniment to meat and fish. When fresh fruit is prepared on the grill, the acidity of pineapple and strawberries, for example, combines with the smoke flavor. The heat intensifies the full flavor or makes fruit such as lemons or watermelons even juicier than they already are. Exotic grilled fruits such as mangoes combine their sweetness with the roasted note and allow the palate to taste different flavors at the same time.
Which fruit goes on the grill?
Grilled fruit brings a fresh and healthy variation to the grill or, served with ice cream, is the perfect ending to a barbecue menu.

From grilled fruit skewers to fruit parcels
Not only the varied combination of meat, fish and vegetables with different types of fruit offers guests something new - the presentation of the delicacies also makes the BBQ heart beat faster. If you want to offer your guests modern table culture, you can skilfully present your grilled fruit on matching tableware. Depending on the preparation method, fruit skewers can be arranged particularly well on oval or rectangular plates. Fruit packets in which the fruit cooks in its own juice skilfully set the scene for the sweet end of the barbecue.
In our case, for example, a burger with grilled figs looks best on a coup plate with exciting decoration in blue - a great interplay of colors.
