Skandinavian Design
Unobtrusive, simple, sustainable, practical and individual, this is how the Scandinavian furnishing style is characterised. Local, light wood gives a warm flair in combination with white walls gives the home a friendly appearance.
Other natural materials such as linen, cotton, leather and glass complement the Scandinavian look. Although this style tends to be minimalist and in natural colours, you will also find graphic, colourful patterns on textiles in bright colours or Scandi tableware with decor also in colour.
Minimalist in design, Scandinavian tableware is preferably seen with a short, steep rim. Natural shades of brown and beige or a neutral grey are typical colours for décors in Scandinavian design.
